Architectural Historian/Historic Preservation Planning
Ms. Roth completed numerous historical surveys, nomination forms and HABS/HAER Surveys for the purpose of fulfilling Federal Section 106 requirements in the State of Oklahoma as an independent consultant, and has personally surveyed over 2500 individual buildings in her career. In addition, she co-wrote Tinker Air Force Base’s first Historic Resource Plan while working as a subcontractor for Woodward Clyde, Inc in 1995. More recent work in New York includes the completion of the Highland Road Historic Resource Survey for the City of Glen Cove while working for a previous employer.
Municipal Planning Services
Ms. Roth served as consulting planner for the Towns of Goshen., Clarkstown and Stony Point and the Villages of Airmont, Chestnut Ridge, and Montebello, and the City of Glen Cove while employed at other regional firms. Services included a variety of subdivision and site plan reviews for projects of a variety of scale, and assisted the town boards in the completion of the environmental (SEQRA) review of projects, including EIS reviews and preparation of supporting documents. Ms Roth’s consulting planning experience extends over a 12 year period in the State of New York.
Environmental Assessment Preparation and Review
Ms.
Roth has experience in the completion of all types of SEQRA documents
including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), and Finding
Statements, and supporting documents. Completed EIS include those
submitted to the Town of Cornwall (Mountainville Properties), Town of
Hamptonburgh (Pyramid Industrial), Town of Montgomery (Overnight
Transportation), Village of Goshen (Sweezy Building), and Village of
Upper Nyack (Draft GEIS for Comprehensive Plan). In addition, she
reviewed several EISs for communities as a consulting planner for the
Town of Ramapo, Town of Clarkstown, Town of Woodbury, Town of Stony
Point, and Village of Airmont. With our staff resources, HVPP can
also provide effective and experienced project coordination to
facilitate the completion of the SEQRA process for any size project.
Outsourcing
Professional
Services are available for outsourcing to other firms on an as needed
basis for professional planning and historic preservation services. In
addition, HVPP can provide professional graphic services on an as
needed basis for a variety of planning related documents.
